Reading education has become a rigorously researched discipline, and it is easy to get lost among the growing number of reading concepts. We have prepared this list for you to become familiar with or just revise the terminology of reading education.
From time to time I come back to these definitions, and sometimes I try to find examples for the different kinds of characters and narrators in the books I am reading with my classes. I don’t ask my students to learn the definitions word by word but when I find interesting examples of certain characters or narrators, I discuss them with my class.
